Most likely you are unhappy with your current software applications, your current consultant, or both. Your needs may be anything from getting someone to take over support of your existing accounting/ERP software to a major migration to a completely different application. We are interested in providing the perfect solution for your needs. To provide a solution, we must spend time doing a proper diagnosis of the situation. After all, the definition of malpractice is providing treatment without diagnosis, and we do not want to be guilty of that.
This is very important. If we do not believe we can provide a solution where the value you have identified is at least 2 to 3 times the cost you will incur, we will not go forward. Satisfaction in the long term is more important to us than revenue in the short term. If what we offer does not match your needs, we want you to find someone else to provide the solution. The scope document that we create is a true solution plan.
The reason we do a needs analysis is so we can present a fixed price solution. The solution includes all software and services provided, the steps to be performed, and what constitutes the completion of the project.
