Find out which marketing source produces the most sales and the most profit. You have the option of creating a Summary or Detail report.
The Summary Report is in order by the customer "Source" field. Under each source are the customers who were acquired from that source, their date of entry, sales, and margin. The sales and margin are for the period selected in the option grid. The option grid has selections for limiting the report by source, customer and territory. It is best suited for giving an overall picture of your marketing results.
The Detail Report lists each item sold on every invoice for the selected date range. It has option grid selections for source, customer, salesperson, territory, item, and item class. It is best suited to a very restricted detail analysis. An example would be to show how different marketing efforts affect the sales of particular products.

There is a Pro Series feature for recording the Tax Exemption Certificates of those customers who do not pay sales taxes. The number, state and expiration dates are recorded. In Florida there is a requirement that certificates expired each year. Unfortunately there is no report in Pro Series that gives you any information on tax certificates.
This report will give you a listing of all customers with tax certificates on file or just those that are due to expire.
Summary: The summary report produces one line per customer.
Detail: The detail report will give a complete name and address for the customer.
The report can be placed in order by the Company Name, Customer Number, or the Tax Certificate Number.
This is the range for the expiration date of the tax certificate. If the dates are left blank, all records will be selected.
Placing a customer number (or portion of number) here will limit the report to that customer or all those that begin with that portion of a number.
Placing a territory (or portion) here will limit the report to that territory or all those that begin with that portion.
Same as listed in the Customer File.
Sales Tax Certificate number
The State the certificate pertains to.
The date the certificate will expire.
This report gives you a way to determine which customers are costing you money by being late in their payments. Sometimes customers that are extended generous payment terms and the best product pricing repay you with chronically late payments. If you are like most companies, you don't charge a finance charge on late payments and end up eating the costs.
This report will help you decide just who deserves to be treated as a good customer and who to get tough with.
Summary:This is the report you will usually run when including all customers.
Detail:This report is usually run for just one customer. It will provide you with each individual invoice and how long it too to receive payment.
Yes, gives you Invoices and Credit memos. No, gives you just Invoices. Since this is a payment report, you normally want to leave this in the "No" (default) position.
You can place the lines in this report in order by: Company Name, Customer Number, Average Days to Pay, Maximum Days to Pay, or Current Balance owed.
Unweighted: This is a straight average.
Weighted: (Default) This uses a formula which gives more weight to invoices with larger total dollar value. This gives you a better picture of the account. If a customer pays invoices that are under $100 on time and invoices that are over $1000 sixty days late, a straight average will not show this correctly.
The report will only consider invoices which fall in the entered date range. Leave blank to show all history.
These allow you to limit the report by entering appropriate criteria.
The Sales Analysis Report is a great report. It allows you to see sales by grouping them by Customer, Item, or Salesperson. The only problem with the report is that it list every invoice line. For those companies with a large sales volume, this report can be huge.
The Summary Sales Analysis Report gives you the same information but without the detail lines.
